American Sign Language Cinema

Deaf stories. Georgia screens.

Georgia’s creative home for Deaf and hard-of-hearing directors, cinematographers, and cinema patrons. We produce independent screen culture authored natively in American Sign Language with guaranteed open captions.

Dual Language Mission

Visual cinema without compromise

Ga Deaf Film is a Georgia nonprofit producing accessible cinema culture, running technical filmmaking workshops in American Sign Language, and connecting Deaf creators directly to Georgia's commercial production ecosystem.

ASL video: [coming soon with open captions]. Every program pairs direct ASL instruction with clear English materials, guaranteeing complete visual access from the first script table read to the theatrical festival premiere.
